昨天下班回家，看見信箱裡有一張美國郵局的包裹投遞通知卡。我知道一定是妳寄喜餅來了。很興奮！今天早晨，被門鈴聲叫醒。肯特先生下樓去，拿上來一個包裹。我迫不及待打開，看見了典雅的餅盒和喜帖。
呵呵！是我上次回去時，堅持要妳寄來的。我是很貪吃沒錯，但最想要的還是想在接到喜訊的那一刻，很實在地感受到那份沉甸甸的喜悅。
來美國後的五年裡，台灣的同學朋友們陸續結婚。每次從msn上收到遙遠地方捎來的喜訊時，都有一點小小的遺憾，一種不能在場感受真實溫度的遺憾。暖暖的人情，因為距離，失去很多。
收到喜餅的今天，就是妳大喜的日子！
啊，我驚訝的大叫。看看時間，你們已經宴完客了吧！來不及把我的祝福稍去給你們了。我真的很為妳開心，雖然已經先告知無法前去喜宴，但寫文的同時，那份遺憾感還在。
謝謝你們的喜餅，之前回去參加學姊的訂婚宴，收過一次喜餅後，這是第二次。我很喜歡這古典的味道，愛極了你們喜帖裡的照片，拍得很好，我會好好保存。
